The Aerox TC Droop Gauge & Disks (SCH-AX015) provides a clear, consistent method to measure droop on 1/10th touring cars by referencing the axle centre. This approach helps remove variation from suspension tolerances and makes it easier to compare settings across different car designs.

Why Measure Droop To The Axle Centre

Referencing the axle centre is a precise way to define the point where the tyre leaves the ground. It eliminates discrepancies from component symmetry and offers a reliable baseline for quick, repeatable setup changes.

How To Use

• Fasten the droop wheels onto one pair of axles.
• Support the chassis on 10 mm droop blocks.
• Use the gauge to read to the lowest part of the droop wheel. The reading equals the distance from the chassis underside to the axle centre.
• Repeat for the other axle pair.

Recommended Starting Settings

• Tarmac/Asphalt: Front 22–23 mm; Rear 21–22 mm
• Carpet: Front 22.5–23.5 mm; Rear 21.5–22.5 mm

Storage And Transport

For compact storage, insert the M4 grub screw through the droop gauge so it protrudes evenly from both sides, then lock it with the M3 grub screw from underneath. The droop wheels can then be attached to the M4 screw for secure transport.
