The ICON 2 has been successful on track with wins at the 2022 IFMAR World Cup, 2023 EFRA European Cup, and the 2022 ETS series, driven by Schumacher team driver Andreas Stiebler. The Schumacher Icon 2 Worlds (part number SCH-K212) packages key options and development parts into one refined RC Formula racing machine.

Key Worlds Edition Updates

  • Horizontal alloy wing mount for improved strength.
  • Vertical carbon fibre wing mount lowering the rear wing by 5 mm.
  • Lightweight, low centre-of-gravity CNC alloy rear transmission housings with lowered bearing seats to suit small-diameter foam tyres.
  • Reworked rear springs and matching spring seat to maintain full suspension travel with softer rates.
  • Montech front and rear wings for increased performance.
  • Castor inserts with preset options: 5° & 8°, 6° & 7°, 2.5° & 10.5°.
  • Front king pin allowing additional front droop to boost grip.
  • Carbon fibre side link mount providing extra electronics space.
  • Full-length carbon fibre chassis for greater cornering predictability and improved rear traction; accepts optional rectangular ballast weights.

Technical Highlights

  • Gear differential for enhanced on‑power steering, improved entry stability and a flatter, more predictable drive in higher traction; ball diff remains a viable option in very low grip.
  • Left‑hand rear wheel clamp, rotationally balanced and ideal for the gear diff; compatible with ball diff.
  • V2 damper rods with larger internal bore for easier filling, more oil volume and longer‑lasting damping.
  • Durability upgrades including side link mounts and front end chassis posts.
  • Simplified front wing mounting using thread inserts; clearance for narrow front wishbone positions and optional reduced‑camber strap (U8358).
  • Flanged alloy rear wheel nuts for improved concentricity; hollow lightweight steel rear diff axle, with optional carbon fibre gear diff axle (U8353).
  • Carefully tuned longitudinal stiffness via topdeck and side brace design.
  • Fully adjustable front end: wheelbase, track width, ride height, toe, camber, caster, damping, bump steer and Ackermann.
  • LiPo mounting with easy O‑ring loop design for a wide range of Shorty‑type packs.
  • Aluminium servo mounts and widespread use of thread inserts for easy maintenance.
  • Lightweight independent roll and bump springs, ultra‑low motor position, adjustable anti‑squat and pro‑squat, and an ultra‑balanced rear pod.
  • Optimised steering geometry; chassis balance pivot holes for use with pivot set U3582; slotted centre pivot with anti‑bind adjustment.
  • Extra‑low rear roll centre with rear tweak adjustment via side springs.
  • Ride height and droop fine‑tuning in 0.25 mm steps front and rear; high‑tensile steel hex hardware; clear, high‑quality manual.

Suggested compatibility includes CORE solid axle #CR721 and a broad range of industry‑standard body shells, motors, batteries, servos and speed controllers.
